Gloria Floyd Elementary School
strives to provide students with
an integral education in a safe and caring
learning environment. We set the highest
curriculum standards, guiding our students
to reach and maintain academic excellence,
while also promoting the emotional, social,
and behavioral skills needed for them to
grow and develop their full potential as
responsible members of our society.
Our school benefits from a supportive and
engaged parent community, headed by the
ASSOCIATION (PTA), which
volunteers thousands of hours each year in
support of our educative goals.
We welcome and encourage you to explore this

The Comprehensive Student Services Program
addresses the educational, career, and
personal/social needs of all students. It is
an integral and central part of the district
total educational program. The program is
student development centered and includes
sequential activities designed to assist all
students in acquiring competencies in career
planning and exploration, knowledge of self
and others, and educational and vocational
development. The program is implemented by
qualified professional personnel working in
collaboration with students, teachers,
parents, community members, and
administrators. Student services personnel
are uniquely capable of addressing the
students/family needs holistically.
